Isaac Kariuki

“Digital art situates ivory tower institutional art in a very uncomfortable position because it’s still incredibly new and the people who involve themselves with it to the best potential are those very outside of the ‘norm’.”

Kariuki is an artist, writer and founding editor of the quarterly magazine Diaspora Drama, “celebrating creative and offbeat people of colour on the internet”. He lives and works by turns in London and Nairobi (Kenya). He focuses on autonomy, identity, the body and internet culture.
